Trinh & Tu :: San Fransisco Engagement Session

I truly feel sorry for photographers that DON'T live in the Bay Area. WHAT do you guys do for locations? **shakes head, says a prayer for them**

SF in the rain!! Title of a romance novel if you ask me. Meet Trinh & Tu. These guys flew up from D.C. ,(my old stompin grounds, what-up Arlington) to be with me for their engagement session while also seeing family. Their wedding is gonna be at the GLORIOUS, Omni Hotel. Many familiar faces were married there and I'm REALLY looking forward to putting my take on this place.

BIG thank you to Tu's sisters for both coming out and helping as assistants. Not sure how all that came together but it was a riot. Sushi after was SO GOOD. My clients spoil me. I <3 you.

Happy Friday folks!

~Sam

The kiss in the forest is my favorite from this session! Love it! The second was the kiss on the sidewalk in the rain!

These are rocking Sam. Truth. I've wanted to visit SF for a while, perhaps when I am engaged I can have a good reason to come down from Canada! (Will bring Maple Syrup).

Excellent with my friend, I love it.

My fav engagement session to date! I LOVE the city shots at the end, especially the one of them running across the street and the one with the flowers. I die!!

You are incredibly talented! I am an amateur photographer and I learn many lessons just looking at your work... I love the element of humor that many of your photographs have, and your use of light. There is certainly a buzz here in sacto about "Sam Hassas"

The two black and white shots (walking on street and on docks) made me say WOW. Then again, most all your pictures do anyway. I need to start inventing new words for your set.

The shot in the forest with the backlighting is stunning! I love how massive the trees are in comparison to the couple. I do have to say the pier shot is my fave though!
