Wedding at the Intercontinental Hotel San Fransisco :: Janice and Phil

Janice and Phil are just plain cool. Crazy cool. They had a cool bridal party, cool parents, cool EVERYTHING. Janice had the coolest last maiden last name of any of my brides to date. Leguidleguid. YES! So nice you gotta same it twice. (quote from Phils best man during his speech. :) Their wedding was at the fabulous Intercontinental Hotel in San Fransisco. My first time shooting there and I was though-roughly impressed. Very recommended. As a rating, it receives 5 packs of "Sauce". Ceremony was at the Church of the Epiphany. Always a great place to shoot.

Amongst the LIVEST wedding receptions I've ever had the pleasure of shooting. When they were introduced at the reception it was PANDEMONIUM. Janice and Phil's, your wedding was placed in a mold and then the mold was broken.

Big ups to Quan for helping as second shooter once again. Images he took are marked below. Also want to say thank you to Jerry for help once again as assistant. Thanks for bringing it once again guys.

Happy Sunday blogsphere.

Love.

Boom.

One of my faves.

Belongs in your future game room Phil.

If there is an image that captures this couple perfectly, it's THIS.

San Jose Engagement Photographer :: Andrea & Rusty

My last engagement session for 2010!!

Andrea & Rusty y'all! Met with these guys a few months ago for our pre-consultation and felt an immediate click. We were like bread and butter, (or Hummus and pita for my cultured crowd). Can't you hear the music on this set!? Light was right. Time was right. COUPLE was right. For my couples who've yet to have their engagement session with me, chalk this session up as inspiration on what to do. It was perfect.
Thanks for the good time guys!

Happy Wednesday peeps!

San Francisco Engagement Phototgrapher :: Liana & Mike

Random shoe fact: You can visit the Smithsonian in D.C. to have a glance at Dorthy's Ruby Red Shoes.

Sometimes the planets align and a location works seamlessly with the couple and their attire. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect backdrop. Liana & Mike will be getting married at the Westin St. Francis. Not sure a wedding venue gets any better then there either. They get 5 stars from The Sauce.
Always a big thanks to Scott Mosher for helping out as assistant here. Your hands are always appreciated bud. THANKS!!

Random blog ending: Making sure your leathers match will result in awesome.

~Sam

Liana, in the event you ever get get laid off from whatever you do for a living, I'd say you'd be a shoe-in here. You're just fierce!
Forgot why they were laughing. It must have been hilarious though.

Note to photographer. You need a permit for Yerba Buena Gardens. :S
(I actually knew this in advance but we tried our luck anyway. Lasted all of 4 minutes.)

One of my faves. Took 2 attempts to get this one.

Yours truly. Thanks Scott for the help!!
