Hillary and Don, you have so much style it hurts!
What was I doing in North Carolina? This: Genesis Workshop (group photos were arranged by yours truly). Hi kids! Love you!
A couple things about these two. Don is a rock-star photographer in the Nashville area. His work is excellent and if your in need of a photographer in the Nashville area, (and beyond) check out his work here. Dude is savage. Hillary is a FAMOUS!, (yes I said famous) She does event design with a specialty in floral and is ranked the HIGHEST in her area of Nashville. Go see the awesome here.
The style you two brought was so good. And WOW to that ring. Amiright?
Such an amazing session here. The crown of it all was having my great friend Mr. Tony Hoffer as an additional shooter, (no, I can't call Tony a "2nd"). We also had the company of a few students during the first half of the session. For that I say THANK YOU Hillary and Don!
Also wanted to say a big THANK YOU to the great folks at The King's Daughters Inn
for the use of their wonderful place. We had the pleasure of staying there as a base/hub for our workshop together. It was amongst the nicest place I've EVER stayed at. YES, that good.
Lastly, these great folks will be tying the knot in....wait for it....HAWAII!! YES, I will be going to shoot it! :D
HAPPY THURSDAY!

The Washington D.C. Engagement Session :: Kristiaan & Lionel
Random Hassas fact. I grew up in D.C.
Say hello to Kristiaan & Lionel. Kristiaan is said, chris-tee-on. Lionel is said....Lionel.
These guys are a no nonsense photography team taking the greater D.C.area by storm.
These guys were so cool to shoot for. When I FIRST started, I thought shooting for other photographers would be the most awful, nerve racking thing ever. FAR from it. When you are shooting for folks that genuinely appreciate what your doing things are easy. I look forward to it now.
Guest what, to top things off here, I had the company of non other then Mr. Tony Schreiber shooting along side me. You can see his take on the session here.
You can see our group shadow shot below. :D
Thanks for the look see folks. Have a great Wednesday!!
~SamAfter I'm satisfied with the session and feel I have a good dose of great shots, I open it up to some fun, different, artist, whatever shots. Here's one below. :D
My old stompin grounds. **single tear**
The team. :)
Kristiaan got me perhaps the most epic gift that she presented me at the tail end of our session. Get this, a custom made cookie with MY name on it!! HA!!!
It tasted every bit as good as it looked. So good. Thank you Kristiaan!

The Chicago Wedding :: Evelyn & Christian
Chicago, Chicago
That toddlin' town
~Frank
Shot there about a year ago and had the chance to come back. (Ovi and Claudia, congrats on the new baby!) Chicago is a great city. Just wonderful. It's HUGE!!
Like 10 San Fransiscos.
This time out I got to shoot for Evelyn and Christian. Another great Romanian couple. Romainians are so cool. I plan on being one in my next life even. Large families, lots of friends, great food. Cabbage Rolls. OMG!! You HAVE to eat their cabbage rolls. I'm firmly convinced it will be served in heaven. Thanks for the extra time for shooting the party shots. I always appreciate that! Take notes current couples.
Big thanks to Graeme of Pitman Photography for helping out as second shooter. Dude brought the thunder. To Chicago, thanks for always making me feel welcome guys. We hope to see you again soon!
~SamFlash flood the morning of the wedding. It miraculously disappeared in the afternoon.
