Incredible. Brilliant. Crazy. Amazing. Epic. I just can't think of the word. I left this shoot with an excitement I hadn't felt before. WHAT an amazing day.
Myself and some really great photographer friends arranged another photographers shootout this past weekend. Dan & Caroline are the brilliance that is Tinywater Photography. There work is stunning to say the least. Creative is hardly the adjective to describe them. They found this awesome opportunity to shoot at Preston Castle. The Castle, (little did I know)is in the small city of Ione Ca. A historic marvel of a place to go see. So here's what we put together:
13 photographers
5 models
3 dresses each, (traditional wedding, vintage and gothic)
A certified MUA, (make-up artist) with a team of 3
annnnd......a castle
The objective was to have fun, help the girls with their portfolios, network amongst the best in wedding vendors and up the inspiration bar by watching each other work.
Wanted send a personal thank you to Raquelle of "Image Provocateur" for making so much of the day possible. She has so magic hands. She was also responsible for bring these gorgoues girls to the shoot. Wow right? She also was the contact for having these AMAZING dresses for the girls to wear. To all the brides who visit my blog, a combintation of Raquelles magic and one of these incredilbe dress would make your big day a dream. Please check out their sites below:

Tammie & Mike :: Engagement
So, I sacrificed my Fourth of July this year to shoot a wedding. Bummer, right? I DO have good reason however. I get to shoot a wedding for Tammie and Mike, (the love birds above, get it? Love birds? Never mind...) and it will be on a boat!! Yes indeed. Every girls got her dream wedding in mind and Tammie's is to have it while celebrating our Independence. In her own words she's very much the "All American Girl" :) I like.
While out to shoot another wedding with me, Hoffer came out to play on this one as well. Actually, it was his idea to do the evening session at the Carnival. AWESOME! I loved shooting there. After you see what we created here, go check out his take as well. Tony Hoffer
Counting down the days to shoot for you guys. Mike, thanks for letting Tammie splash water in your face, all in the name of ART! :) You guys are coolio in my book. Cheers!

Ashley & Erik :: Wedding
A Valentines wedding day.
Well ,I sacrificed my (and my poor wifes) Valentines day to shoot this wedding. So as not to get in trouble with the wifey, I won't say I'd do it over again, HOWEVER, this was a real party of a wedding. These folks were so FUN! Wow! And might I add that they are totally in love with each other. I think their story truly will result in a "and they lived happily ever after" **tear**
Thank you Ashley and Erik for inviting me to be a part of your AWESOME celebration. I had loads of fun. You'll remember these cool cats their very engaging and equally hilarious engagement session from a few months back. Y'all rock!
Big thanks to Brian Lingle and my man Quan D. for bringin the business. You guys are awesome helpers. Quan played an excellant role as second shooter on this one. Be sure to check him out here. Quan D.
