Probably the most emotion filled wedding I've been to all year. I was even getting teary eyed at many of the several parts of the day as it unfolded. You might remember Nikia & Q from their engagement session I shot a few months back. Full of style and pizazz these two.
Holy huge wedding party Batman! 10, count em 10 brides maids! I couldn't even get them all together in my montage, I had to break it up in 2. Fun group who were very supporting and genuinely loved their friends, Nikia & Q.
Okay, Q gets the stud trophy of the year for what he did/gave Nikia as a gift on their wedding day. Check it-------A MERCEDES!! What you see just before the mercedez montage is a picture book he put together of their love story. He actually made Nikia read it out loud page for page and when she got toward the end of the book she fell apart. I fell apart. We all fell a part! He then brings her right outside the reception hall and park right in front is Nikia's new wheels. So much emotion and joy. It was as if we all got a Mercedec.
Big thanks to Rob for helping out as a second on this one. Came through bro. Hope you had as much fun as I did. If you're a friend or family to Nikia and Q, please feel free to say a little something to the newlyweds if you'd like. Much blessings and enjoy the images.

Wedding invitations
Came across this today and had a laugh. I think everyone's been to 1 or 2 of these kind of weddings. Can you say, Mother-out-law

Sarai :: Baby Session
Gosh, what a doll this little one was. Babies never cease to amaze me. So much personality in such a tiny package. Shot this just around the corner from my house. Take note, great locations aren't always miles away. Beauty can be found in all kinds of layouts. You just have to know what your looking for.
My goal here was to have a subject so very sweet & innocent amongst something very rustic and drab. Not the first time it's been done of course but worth noting. Mom and dad were very accommodating in bringing outfits, (yes you should bring more then one, even 5!). Leah West gets kudos for the antique chair :) and my darling wife Monica wanted to have it known that the hat was her idea. Gold!!!
Should note as well that dates for family sessions during the Fall/Christmas season are filling fast. If your looking to have a family session done with me AND have Christmas cards done, book sooner than later. Turn over times can vary on receiving proofs and prints in time for the holidays. Take care and enjoy the shots.

Cassandra & Danny :: Engagement
Kinda cool that I get all the smoothest couples. Meet Cassandra and Danny. Cool as cucumbers is the best way to describe them. So cool in fact that their wedding will be in lake Tahoe in December. (Okay, that was corny :).
We shot this one at Stanford University. New local for me and one I'll be visiting again a few more times. Lots of gorgeous architecture there. After we were finished with the College we ran over to downtown Palo Alto. VERY nice, boutique feel to the this part of the city. Great backdrop for romantic stuff.
Classy, classy. I expect no less for the wedding. See you guys in December.
